Start using an eyelash curler
Yes, it’s actually a great idea to go the eyelash curler route. I use it often because it draws your eyelashes upward. It also helps increase the overall size of your eyes, without doing too much. But once I learned about it, I realized that it actually works. What you need to do is to line only ¾ of the lid instead of the entire thing. Making sure that you don’t draw the full length of the eyelid with your eyeliner is a great advantage. You always want to go ¾ of the way, as it leads to a better result.
Contour the shape of your eyes
One of the tricks I try to use often is to contour my eye shape, and it has a very specific reason. Doing that makes it easy for me to experiment, try out new colors and see how it all works. For some people it works very well. What I do is I apply a darker shade to the eyelid crease and that helps with the overall definition. Then with the finger I draw the color upwards.
