Tailwind Tips For Travel Bloggers

Getting more traffic to your blog is one of the easiest ways to get more readers, regardless of whether you are a new blogger or an experienced veteran. Despite all the talk about page views not mattering, they take on significance when starting. Your content will be seen if it receives a lot of page views.

The idea is that people will see your stuff, love it, then share it so that even more people will see and love it! Sounds simple when you put it like that, right? We are fortunate.

You should publish your content more often and widely. Your video should be shared across various channels so that as many people as possible can learn about you. Hence, we are looking for ways to boost the number of page views on your site quickly and efficiently, and Tailwind is the answer when it comes to Pinterest.

USING TAILWIND FOR TRAVEL BLOG

Step #1: Create a Tailwind account

A trial offer is available for Tailwind, so you can see if it’s something you will need. The service is not free, but it’s a great way to test the waters.

Step #2 – Create your queue

Using your blog’s Pinterest account, you schedule posts from your blog and other people’s blogs to go out at various and active times throughout the day.

In essence, by using your queue, you are mimicking a real Pinterest user, so you don’t have to pin constantly.

It’s a game-changer! You should pick times that include peak times in your day so that you can take advantage of them. Tailwind can suggest top-performing timeslots if you aren’t sure.

Step #3 – Set up chrome extension for TAILWIND

As you grow and the number of boards you have increased, this FREE tool will save you a lot of time. In step #4, you can watch a video that shows you exactly how to download the Extension and insert it into your browser!

Step #4 Take advantage of third-party content

By opening up Pinterest in Chrome, you can search for relevant content based on your niche and the boards you have in your profile.

You will see an excellent selection of pins in the results when you run your search. In the upper right corner, click on Chrome Tailwind Extension. You will be able to pick up a few pins to put into your queue.

Please remember the steps I described above when choosing a pin. It is valid for other people’s nails, and if you don’t see any good keywords, you can adjust their descriptions to make them more readable.

Hit the schedule tab in the lower right corner of the screen once you have highlighted all the pins you want. However, it will open the Tailwind window, and you can now choose which board to use for each pin. All the students need to do now is click on the “Schedule Now” tab in the upper corner.

Step #5 – Grab your content

In the same way as above, you can use the Chrome extension in your Pinterest Best of the board so that you can keep track of all your pins. If necessary, make sure that your description contains no errors and that your keywords are spelled out.

Step #6 – Schedule pins one at a time

You need to schedule new content to as many relevant boards as you have, or manually if it hasn’t already been designed to your Best of the board. Remember that you help Pinterest better understand your pin and content every time you pin it to a keyword board.

With our content, we want to make sure it appears on the Pinterest Smart Feed, which is the feed of pins shown to Pinterest users when they perform a specific search. You can do this by opening that pin in Tailwind, clicking on the Schedule tab, and choosing the relevant boards.

It is essential to spread your pins to many boards (one daily in the beginning), as it is new content. For this purpose, you will need to select specific times and days for your new pins by using the interval tab at the bottom.

Consider when your readers are most active so that you can have one of those times chosen for each relevant board for the day. Keeping your new content on related topic boards will help Pinterest understand your content, so you can expose it to even more readers and grow your blog traffic.

It’s no secret that Tailwind is a game-changer for growing your page views, so I encourage you to start using it today. Pins don’t have to be done daily for blogs, and we must do so many other things. But even so, I do not suggest you schedule all your activities at all times, hardly at all.

The act of manually pinning should always be part of the way you share content, so do it a few times a day to give it a natural feel. If you search for Pinterest once or twice a day from your phone, you’ll see a difference in your account.

Share only the best pins, though. Ensure you’re pinning the right things at the right time by picking your best-performing nails from Google.

I have used these tips for a year now, and my Pinterest game has changed dramatically. What’s even better is she’s just revised it with all new information! Especially for bloggers who are serious about growing, my friend Carly’s Pinterest Strategies will prove to be invaluable.

The best practices for creating attractive pins

I’ve noticed that a few tricks work the best for designing Pins based on years of experience using Pinterest. The following are some of them:

  • Make your designs warm – people seem to prefer pins that are in warm colors over cold ones. Therefore, think of reds and yellows.
  • The statistics show that images with people get fewer engagements than those displaying no people. I suppose it simply means you should experiment with using photos with people, just to see how it functions.
  • The best way to draw people’s attention to your images is to use big, bold fonts. You want your images to stand out.
  • Trying different designs will help you find the winning pin, as you never know for sure when a Pin will succeed, as many factors play a role. In other words, the best approach for the future is to create contrasting Pin designs for every blog post and see which is more effective.

CONCLUSION

Your job is to keep these readers on your blog by turning them into fans who will subscribe forever. You’ll have subscribers who will read everything you write and buy everything you sell!
