The fashion industry is on the rise with the rise of social media for few years. In past, fashion was limited to models or TV personnel only, but since the rise of Instagram fashion blogging and ever since influencing has taken the center stage, it emerged as a career path for many. Chiara Ferragni

Chiara Ferragni is an Italian fashion blogger, fashion designer, business person, and the founder of the fashion blog “The Blonde Salad”. She started her fashion blog in October 2009 with her then-boyfriend and in 2011, she was introduced as “One of the biggest breakout street-style stars of the year”. Milan being the capital of her world, she first started taking her photographs outside fashion shows and sharing them with friends and eventually getting recognized. When she started her blog, she was a law student but quit once her fame grew fast enough to earn her a decent living. She moved to LA in 2013 as she wanted to internationalize herself and soon her name was in Forbes “30 under 30”. Her business ventures including her shoe collection “Chiara Ferragni Collection Footwear” grossed about $8 million. She was also the first fashion blogger to ever appear on the Vogue cover. Ferragni has collaborated with many fashion and beauty brands including Pantene, Nespresso, and Steve Madden, and her clothing and accessories line is sold in flagship stores in Milan, Paris, and Shanghai. Ferragni has a fan following of 17 million with three-quarters of the followers across Europe. Her price per post goes up to $19,500. Her Dior wedding dress received more social media hype than Meghan Markel’s, defining her influence.

Alexa Chung

Alexa Chung has garnered over 3.1 Million followers and earns $4500 per post. Alexa Chung modeled for a teen magazine and worked for many companies including Sunsilk, Fanta, Sony Ericsson, and Urban Outfitters. She also appeared in many music videos. Chung became the face of many big household names and became a significant TV personality. Because of her distinctive personal style, Alexa Chung is a muse to many fashion designers and is often seen on the front row of fashion shows. She also launched her fashion label “Alexachung” in 2017. Chung’s style is described as cool, effortless, and amazing. She takes a basic outfit and then turns it into a fashionable look with colors, accessories, and statement items. Her “experimentation” mode of style is the one that is loved by her followers.

Aimee Song

Aimee Song started her blog back in 2008, as a side project devoted to interior design but it then evolved into a fashion-focused one when the followers started to notice her outfits in her pictures. This interior designer turned fashion blogger is also an author and entrepreneur. Her blog “Song of Style” ranges from “outfit of the day” from dreamy locations to Paris Fashion Week. She is also a member of Forbes 30 under 30 and was featured by The Business of Fashion as one of the 500 people who are shaping the fashion industry.  Aimee Song has 4.9 Million followers and earns $7000 per post.

These three fashion bloggers have become a prominent name with their distinct fashion style statements, garnering millions of followers!
